What is an EBI Webinar?

EBI Webinars are 90-minute interactive, online events that bring you information both visually and aurally so that you are not just reading, but actually having a "live" training experience. You will be able to see presentation materials and have the opportunity to ask questions during the last 30-minutes. All webinars are recorded and available for purchase on-demand or via audio CD and transcript.



What is an EBI Virtual Conference?

EBI Virtual Conferences are live, interactive training events focused on one core theme that last approximately six hours. The audio and visual components of a virtual conference function similar to a webinar. Attendees have the ability to access these online presentations from the convenience of their office, conference room or home. Six experts will spend 45-minutes focusing on a specific topic with a 15-minute Q&A session after each. All virtual conferences are recorded and available for purchase on-demand or via audio CD and transcript.



What is an EBI 24/7 ENCORE Audio Presentation?

The EBI 24/7 ENCORE Audio Presentation, or webinar on-demand, is a playback of the live event. It will be available after the live 90-minute webinar. You can register for the 24/7 ENCORE presentation at any time before or after the live webinar occurs. A link and password for the recorded event will be sent to you 48 hours after the webinar concludes.

What is an EBI Workshop?

An EBI Workshop is a two-day, hands-on training conference located in a major metropolitan city. The workshop covers all elements of a particular topic and provides training materials, such as checklists, spreadsheets and binders full of useful information to take back to the office. Small group activities will give you the opportunity to tackle problems with your peers and allow you to discover solutions through an interactive, hands-on approach. You will be on-site with the instructor, which will allow you to ask questions as they arise.

What is EBI's cancellation policy for Webinars and Virtual Conferences?

No refunds will be given for webinar or virtual conference cancellations. To request a credit memo, please contact EBI Customer Care via email at custcare@elsevier.com. Registrants may substitute the 24/7 Encore audio presentation or the Audio CD/transcript package for the live webinar at any time.



What does it cost to attend an EBI Workshop?

  • Early Bird - $1399 (expires one month prior to event)

  • Regular Price - $1699

What is EBI's cancellation policy for Workshops?

The last day to cancel your registration for a refund, minus a $300 processing fee, is one month prior to the event date. After that, you may send another delegate from your company.

How do I register for an EBI Webinar, Virtual Conference or Workshop?

Visit www.windhover.com/webinars for a list of upcoming events, dates and times. Click on the event that you are interested in. Each event has a description, lists the audience the event is intended for, and provides registration information. Select the desired registration format (ie. live webinar $349). You will receive log-in instructions for webinars and virtual conferences, along with the presentation materials from EBI Customer Care 24-hours prior to the scheduled event.



Will I receive a registration confirmation?

You will receive an email that confirms your registration. Please note that you must provide us with your email address when registering.



Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Please contact EBI Customer Care if you would like a certificate of attendance.

How can I make sure I receive all conference emails from you and they do not get blocked by my spam filters?

To ensure an attendee receives emails related to EBI Webinars, Virtual Conferences, and Workshops, you should “whitelist” our email address. This is the fancy word for “add to safe senders list.” The email address that you should whitelist is: ElsevierBIWebinars@ElsevierBi.net.
